Berlin-based Japanese artist, Hiroyasu Tsuri aka TWOONE, fuses together a wide range of materials and art forms to create his compelling works of art.
Inspired initially by his experiences within the skateboarding and graffiti scene in his youth, Hiroyasu’s style has since evolved into an amalgam of his experiences living abroad and interest in fine, public, and sculptural art.
After moving to Melbourne, Australia in his late teens, where language was an obstacle, Hiroyasu utilized his art as his primary means of expression.
With his unique combination of elements derived from nature, abstract shapes, and color to create his art, Hiroyasu has garnered international recognition for his striking large scale public murals and exhibited his work in respected galleries and museums across the globe.
For the Spoke x TWOONE collaboration, Hiroyasu brought his vision to our Spoke Seat by designing a cormorant and a horse image coupled with abstract lines and bright pops of color. As part of the collaboration, we brought his design to life through the painting of a mural at Urban Spree in Berlin.
